V1Driver is a powerful addition to your Radar Detector that enhances your driving experience with intelligent features.

All users of V1Driver must have one of the following radar detectors:
<ul>
 <li>Valentine One Gen 2</li>
 <li>Valentine One Gen 1 (BLE Dongle Only)</li>
 <li>Uniden R8, R4 (R9 coming soon)</li>
 <li>Radenso DS1</li>
</ul>

V1Driver offers three forms of automatic muting, all selectable by Band:
<ol>
 <li>By Speed (Savvy Emulation): The radar detector will remain muted if you are under the specified speed.</li>
 <li>By Time: The radar detector will automatically mute or snooze after a specified time. AutoSnooze is designed to detect blind spot monitor falses.</li>
 <li>By GPS Location: V1Driver utilizes long term tracking to monitor hits of the same frequency in the same location over several days before considering it for lockout. If a signal later disappears, it will remove the lockout.</li>
</ol>

V1Driver takes the well-known V1 "Arrows" to new heights by displaying bogeys on a two-dimensional map. This allows for more precise tracking of their relative positions before waiting for the arrows to change direction.

The app also offers extensive audible options, including Text-To-Speech of Band and Frequency. Audio can be played through Hands Free Protocol, enabling phone call audio integration in your car or motorcycle.

This app is compatible with all iPhones and iPads that support iOS 12.0 or later with GPS capabilities. It works in any orientation and does not require an active cellular connection for day-to-day operation. However, a data connection is required for viewing the map or backing up to iCloud.

Please note that iPads without cellular chips do not have GPS and are not compatible with V1Driver.

V1Driver seamlessly connects to the radar detector in the background and does not use GPS for this feature. It consumes minimal battery and can be disabled if desired.

While V1Driver cannot guarantee that undesired signals will never be locked out, it is designed to clean itself up over time if it does happen.

Additional features of V1Driver include:

 <li>Alert Notifications with "Mute," "Lock," or "Snooze" acknowledgments</li>
 <li>Apple Watch compatibility for receiving alerts</li>
 <li>Manual Mute with automatic unmute from other bands</li>
 <li>K/Laser Snooze feature for dealing with blind spot monitor or LED false alerts</li>
 <li>Live Map showing the learning and unlearning process as V1Driver updates its data</li>
 <li>Live Alert status on the Map, displaying the strongest threat (mirrors V1 display)</li>
 <li>Compatibility with Savvy hardware version, still selectable by band</li>
 <li>Signal Strength meter with higher resolution compared to 8 fixed levels</li>
 <li>Ramp Up rate for the main threat and each bogey on the Bogey Map</li>
 <li>iCloud Backup and Restore of Database and Settings</li>
 <li>Two Level Savvy Speed Setting with automatic Reset and integrated current speed</li>
 <li>Data Filtering on the "Pin Map" for closer inspection of V1Driver's actions</li>
 <li>Delete unwanted pins or groups of pins directly on the Map</li>
 <li>Detailed information on any collected data point (Pin) on the Map</li>
 <li>"2nd Chance" for reviewing and deleting Manual Lockouts within 24 hours before they become permanent</li>
 <li>Savvy Warmup that allows GPS to get a good lock while keeping the detector quiet in false-dense areas like parking garages</li>
 <li>Integrated help for each control throughout the app</li>
 <li>Savvy GPS Learning to remember your Savvy Setting and reapply it when revisiting the same location</li>
 <li>User-settable GPS accuracy</li>
 <li>Instant Replay feature capturing all events in real-time for playback</li>
 <li>Live Histogram of signal strength, also shown as color intensity on your route on the Map</li>
 <li>Ku Band support for European users</li>
 <li>Demo mode using the "Instant Replay" feature, simulating a real encounter with speed, location, direction, and alerts</li>
 <li>"White Areas" support for designated areas like police stations that should never be locked out</li>
</ul>

Note: "Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life."
